Wet and wild in the Mullerthal

Today we revisited the Mullertthal- Luxembourg’s “little Switzerland” for a gentler hike then last time, mostly following the various waterways.  It was a wonderful day to be outside enjoying nature - and this is a very beautiful part of this little country.

We found the ghost of the Mullerthal in this rock face below (ok…there is no ghost of the Mullerthal…at least none we are aware of….but it does look like a face doesn’t it?)

Katja wanted to check the water temperature and reached in a hand, but Kat went all in and tried the wading method. It was refreshing!

Kat wasn’t the only one enjoying the water.  This horse was frolicking just prior to this sip:

And this gummi bear was enjoying sunbathing next to a natural pool

A short hike down from this pond was a beautiful little oasis.

Here is Janka shooting a video for us.

Back to Lux for dinner, and while we waited for Katja and Janka to arrive, we took in the “USA Break dancer” ride being set up for an upcoming Luxembourg festival.  We aren’t quite sure what this break dancing demon is?

Or most especially what is happening here:

But it is still apparently appropriate for Luxembourgish  children.   Go U.S.A!  ….as interpreted by the Luxembourgish Carnival establishment.
